It's lovely to (e)meet you! I'm Sarah, a photographer and artist based in Leicestershire. I have loved portraiture and finding the best ways to capture the essence of a person for as long as I can remember.  It has always been the main focus of my photography and art portfolio, since I started in my teens.

As a child, I was very lucky to have parents that had a love for photography and took some great images of my family. These family photos and the memories they evoke are some of my most treasured possessions. I see it my job as a photographer to do the same for my clients. To provide you with not only lovely images, but capturing beautiful memories to look back on with your family for many years to come.

You may have spotted on my home page that I photograph in a relaxed and mostly informal style (although I will usually finish with a couple of more 'posed' images with the whole family together, so you get a variety in the style of image). I do understand that you may feel embarrassed and awkward with a big lens pointing at you. But I like to have a chat and get to know you during your session to help you feel comfortable and relaxed. Making you feel more like you are going for a lovely walk or popping over for a chat and cup of tea whilst I snap away. I photograph from either the great outdoors or my cosy studio in the Leicestershire countryside, or if you are wanting a larger group photographed I am happy to suggest or discuss a location.
