Outdoor Social Distance Photo Shoots
From the 1st of June the government updated its guidance and has allowed groups of up to 6 people to meet outdoors. With this update I am so happy that I will be able to resume my outdoor sessions for groups of up to 5 people, following the social distancing guidelines.
From the 15th of June small non essential businesses, including Photography Studios, can reopen. However, with the current guidelines in place I currently will only be able to provide limited sessions.
Newborn Sessions:
My usual style of Newborn shoot is hands on. I wrap, pose and soothe baby before stepping back to take the images. This, for obvious reasons, is something I can’t do at the moment and probably won’t be able to do for some time yet even if I wear a facemask and gloves.
So with this in mind I will only be offering natural / lifestyle newborn sessions. During these sessions I will be guiding you on how to pose with your baby and will not be able to handle your baby into any poses.
I will allow both parents into my studio (but only if both are taking part within the session).
There will be no siblings allowed.
The session will last a maximum of 60 minutes.
Milestone / Baby Sessions:
I wouldn't usually need to get as close to older babies, however I will only be allowing one child into my studio at a time.
I would ask that only one parent accompanies the child that is being photographed (unless both parents are wanting to be photographed).
The session will last a maximum of 60 minutes.
Family Sessions:
I currently won't be offering any indoor studio family session and instead will only be offering socially distant outdoor sessions.
In order to stay safe and protect all my clients the following will apply:
I ask that you wash your hands for at least 20 seconds before you leave you home, before arriving at my studio.
I will give you shoe covers to go over your outdoor shoes, which must be done as soon as entering my studio.
I will ask you to keep to a certain area of my studio to keep the maximum distance from where I work.
I have PPE to work with and will be wearing gloves and a face mask.
You will be asked to use alcohol gel on arrival, feel free to bring your own but I will have some in the studio for you to use.
Masks need not be wornwhilst in the studio unless desired .However clients are welcome to bring their own or use those we supply.
I will use antibacterial spray on all soft props including props that have just been washed prior to every shoot including all door handles, toilet flush, taps, studio sofas, toilet, backdrops, wraps, hats, and headbands before and after every single shoot.
I will only have 1 family in each day to allow time before and after each client to fully clean my studio
My studio bin will be emptied between every client.
I no longer will be providing refreshments until recommended that it is safe to do so and will ask that you bring a bottled drink ad snacks in with you.
I have to limit the number of people in the studio and well only now accept anyone that needs to be there to be photographed (Parents of the child to be photographed are permitted)
Lastly I ask if you feel at all unwell please let me know, we can reschedule your session. If I feel that it is apparent someone I am photographing is unwell, I will finish the session and reschedule for another date at least 14 days from that date. It is the same if I feel at all unwell I will reschedule all of my sessions for the next 14 days.
I really hope that everyone has stayed safe and well, I can't wait to start photographing you again.
Please do let me know and get in touch if you have any questions or concerns.
